It’s a blueprint, or a manifesto, or a wiki, or a thesis, i don’t know. What if we explained what we want to achieve with this… project.

We are looking to create a framework, or a list, of innovative and disruptive policy approaches and suggestions that encapsulate the digitalisation of democratic systems. We envision this to orbit around three aspects of democratic systems: data-driven policy, taking action and e-governance.

It’s an encyclopaedia of sorts for conceptual and practical aspects of what we call Digital Democracy, and a “map” of the academic research available on the topic.

How should you use this blueprint

We chose Notion to create and publish this because it is an amazing collaborative tool. We want to make this similar to GitHub and the open-source capabilities of that platform. Ideally we would like you to be able to submit your inputs directly on the site (if you’re an experienced Notion engineer familiar with how we can make this happen please reach out)

Contribute to the blueprint

While we welcome everyone's contributions, we'll review each submission manually. We maintain an open mind—we'll only exclude submissions that contradict the manifesto's general theme (though we acknowledge this criterion is quite broad). We're working to improve our policy guidelines, so please reach out if you have suggestions.
